The time you become gluttonous, and pray to get "lucky", is the day you squander all of your money. Sounds a bit abnormal, but it appears to be factual. It seems the only time I ever come away with money is when I do not worry about squandering it. I headed to the the casino the other evening with $20. I could not care less about squandering it, I mean, what is 20 dollars? So can you imagine what happened? I left with $120 in profit in one hour!
Another time I headed to the casino with my buddy Chris. I took in 100 dollars that I could not afford to lose. I got gluttonous, I got worried, and I ended up wagering too much and losing it in 30 minutes! The lesson my friends is never bet anymore than you are able to squander. If you don’t care about losing, you have a greater chance of winning big!
What other ways can you improve your chances of winning at Roulette besides setting a budget? Never bet on individual numbers! Sure, they hit every once in a while, but they don’t hit often enough to guarantee a steady profit. Only wager on even bets e.g. red, black, even, odd, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 bets like first 12, second dozen, 3rd 12, etc Bet on odds that pay fairly high.
With the basics covered, how else might we further increase our odds of winning at Roulette? By making probability into our friend, as opposed to our enemy. "You can’t be a winner at Roulette", my buddy Bob would say to me. "It is completely arbitrary because any number could come up". Sure, my friend Jeff has a point, although at the same instance, he is missing a significant aspect of the picture. I absolutely agree, black or red might come up 30 times in a row, but how frequently does that happen?
